Document Control Clerk - Little Long - Ontario

Position Overview
We are looking for an Entry Level Document Control Clerk to support our growing project demands. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building a world-renowned construction project that will make a positive impact on the local community.

  • Candidate will begin working in either our Oakville or Montreal office for the training period
  • Candidate must be available for a fly in/out role
  • Organize and maintain all documents and specs pertaining to project including RFI’s, DCN's, submittals and drawings
  • Perform audits of documents to ensure project files are current
  • Duplicate, bind, and distribute documents as required
  • Transmit, receive, record and distribute e-mail correspondence and documentation according to established procedures
  • Maintain records of incoming document transmittals and prepare outgoing transmittals and packages
  • Assist with registration, filing and control of incoming and outgoing documentation
  • Perform database input and word-processing functions
  • Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned

  • High school degree and ideally a Post-secondary education in Records Administration/Management, Library and Information Technology or related experience
  • Knowledge of records/information management principles and their methodologies an asset
  • Knowledge of Teambinder document control software is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
